Haven't gotten to post a SOTD from home in quite a while. What an awesome shaver this razor is, right up there with my Goldedge and OCD.

    Razor: The Post Shear Company
Brush: 26mm Silvertip in Birdseye Maple
Soap: Ogallala Bay Rum and Sweet Orange
    Aftershave: Captain Smith's Bay Rum
    Mug: Vintage Old Spice

Early morning shave to start the day off right (didn't have time to post it before work).

Brush: TGN premium grade A Silver Badger, Custom Cherry Handle
    Scuttle: SRD
    Razor: Wostenholm Pipe Razor
    Cream: C.O. Bigelow

Results: Great shave and ready to start the day!

I wanted to share the above quote with you fine gentlemen. You see, in a way I think this applies to our shaves as well. Yes we are after the best shave possible, yet do we not seek something more from it? I know I do. I seek peace, calm, and serenity (and normally find it). It is a daily pleasure that provides a momentary distraction from the day to day activity of life. It beckons me (dare I say us) to slow down, appreciate the small things, and long for simpler times. Thank you to each of you who continually build this fine community. Shave on my brethren, shave on!

    Hello Tom,
    Love your setup .

Is that a "Diamond" razor? If so...I am really liking it.

    Default Wednesday morning

    Pre: Hot shower
Brush: Handmade custom by Chris, 24 mm twoband finest
Razor: Joh. Engström, fuax frameback (almost 6/8 at the widest) + Merkur 26c
    Soap: Nannys Citrus Zinger
    Post: Proraso
    AS: Old Spice Musk
    Strop: Neil Miller linen/buffallo 30/60
    Result: Super smooth and clean
Head and face shave today. I´m flabergasted by how nice this old razor shaves. I hit the spot with Nannys soap today and it lathered as a maniac - very much, slippery and slick. I´m going for a ride today, perfect weather for that and a prefect shave.

It was nice to bring the Duck back into the rotation. It always gives me a nice, smooth shave and today was no exception. The cream lathered like crazy, and I found myself when all was said and done with a very nice 2 pass CCS...
