Don't know, I'll ask a watchmaker to tell me something about and he should repair this watch.

    Default Saturday...

Prep: Hot shower--followed by Proraso pre-post-shave cream
    Brush:
Omega ” “Lucretia Borgia Series” Best Silvertip
    SS/SC:
    MWF + Ingram = Superlather
    Strop:
VB Red Latigo--50 fabric; 60 leather
    Razor:
    5/8 F W E Engels "Perfect Temper"
    Astringent:
    Thayers Original Witch Hazel
    ASB:
    Zirh “Soothe”
    AS:
    Proraso
    Result:
    Worth the wait…

I love this combination of Proraso pre-post shave cream, MWF and Ingram. The Ingram intensifies the cooling effect of the Proraso, intensifying the fragrance as well as the cooling effect of the menthol.

Überlather: Trumper's Violet Shave Creme + TOBS Lavender Shave Soap + Glycerin
Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel (Lavender, no alcohol)
    Post-Shave: Trumper's Sandalwood Skin Food
    Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer
After Shave Splash: Floïd Spanish Blue
Result: Today was a great day for a DE shave. It also seemed like a great occasion for the Trumper's Violet SC, which was nicely cooling in the refrigerator for the last ~3 months and was almost forgotten about (BTW: I keep all my cremes in the fridge until needed...keeps them from going "bad"). Well...almost forgotten, but not quite!! It, in combination with the TOBS Lavender soap provided for a wonderfully synchronized symphony of scents that blanketed my stubble with a very thick lather. A mix of Trumper's moisturizer and Floïd Spanish Blue aftershave splash made for a refreshing yet moisturizing finish. Hmmm...I love it. Simple and clean. BBS feel all across the face.

Have a great Saturday gentlemen .
    Robert,

Very nice vintage DE razor there chief. It's similar to the '61 Gillette Super-Speed that I just purchased. Can't wait to try it out.

Okay this was may shave from two nights ago but I am posting it now cause I have access to a computer.

Strop: Illonois 827 & SRD premium I, 50 laps each on Russians's linen, SRD Webbing, Russian leather, and SRD leather. It was my first time using this razor so I used both strops.
    Prep: Hot shower
    Shaving Cream: TOBS Lemon/Lime
    Brush: Thater silvertip
Razor: BJ Eyre & co Triumph
Aftershave: Ogallala Lime & peppercorn Bay Rum

Rusult: not my best shave, I was uncomfortable stropping with the extra wide tang and that might have resulted in a less than perfect edge. I do love the scales on my newest razor, and the grove on the blade looks awesome.

Again the picture is from my phone so dont expect the world:

    Default Saturday Shave!

Semogue Boar | MWF + Alraz Goodfellas | New England Razor Co. "Puritan" | Alum | Art of Shaving Sandalwood Balm | Tabac Eau De Cologne

Today was one of my best shaves. I had nothing to do so I took my sweet time with my lather and my shave. The "Puritan" is the first razor I honed from dull to shave ready and I am very pleased with my result. My edge was a little bit rough, but super sharp and two passes got me BBS. It is very satisfying shaving with an edge you created.

BTW...How is that Kent shaving brush? Just wondering.
My Filly is one of the best shavers I have. The Kent brush is also very nice. The shorter loft combined with the soft Kent bristles makes for a nice combination.

    Thanks Monroe,
It is a great razor...I really like it. I got mine from classicshaving.com. It's a workhorse.
