Bones, John usually does a very good job, but I've had to redo each at some point. Because I couldn't duplicate his method, I had to go back to the bevel & bring it back. On my wedge, the bevel as delivered was very thin, and this made for a wonderful shave, but the edge didn't last. If you make the bevel larger, you can get wicked sharp, but it may kill the feedback which seems unique amongst wedges. I'd recommend at least 1 layer of tape when touching up, and I finished with 2. Got some of the feedback back. I've fought it before. I'm pretty convinced it will either be my edge work or technique. When delivered, it was pure heaven.
'Hope we both find the recipe. By all that's right, it should be a show-stopping shaver.

Monday night shave
PREP: Hot shower with face conditioner scrub
RAZOR: Henckels Twinworks
BRUSH: Custom Nib
SOAP: Face lather with SRD "Vetiver"
ASTRINGENT: Thayers Lemon
ASB: Skinfood
AS: None
EDT: Guerlain Vetiver
RESULT: Grassy Vetiver Goodness
I love this blade. It took an incredible edge and despite its tiny demeanor it mowed through my beard with ease. The SRD Vetiver soap is fantastic and makes my skin super soft/moisturized, and for lovers of Vetiver it is smokey goodness and uber relaxing to smell throughout the shave and paired with Guerlain's Vetiver its a killer combo.
LOVE THE PHOTOS SO FAR GUYS!

Tueasday morning
Pre: Hot shower
Razor: Klas Törnblom
Brush: New Forest
Soap: Nannys Ice & Slice
AS: Old Spice Musk
Strop: Neil Miller
Result: Very, very nice!
Wow, this blade is nice, it´s 6/8 at the toe and 5/8 at the other end. Nannys new soap is my new favourite, wonderful lime smell and nice cooling effect (not as much as Omega and such, but a very light cool cool ).Last edited by Mikael; 10-05-2010 at 11:20 AM.
