    Default my SOTD

I have recently been getting away from my wedges so tonight I decided to use a nice 7/8-15/16 Wade & Butcher.

Prep: Hot shower, hot towel while mixing up lather

Shave: Fitjar Bay Rum shave soap, Vestavia brush, 7/8-15/16 wade & butcher custom scaled razor (guess who did the scales). Ten cent antique store mug.

Post: Ogallala lime and pepercorn bayrum, Nivea senstive skin shave balm

What a beautiful razor! Very nice!!

I had to go back and look, but the actual post I saw it in was this shot:

    Cream: CarrieM's Black Raspberry vanilla
Razor: Dubl Duck Wonderedge quarter hollow in Blue/Green Paua Shell scales by Maximilian (hereafter referred to as Max).
    After Shave:Ogallala Sandalwood & Bayrum
Result: I got this razor early this week but wanted to save it until today so I could have time to really enjoy it. I had also saved the Black Raspberry vanilla cream as a first for today. I saw a razor in the SOTD some time ago that had blue paua shell scales by Max and I fell in love. Max was able to put this beauty together for me (very quickly too, thanks Max!). I can say that this razor shaves just as good as it looks. I couldn't even feel the blade cutting hair, Max puts an amazing edge on a blade and it is very polished. What an amazingly smooth shave. The sweet scent of the black raspberry cream, the effortless glide of the Dubl Duck, it was shave nirvana! 2 passes & BBS! This was another "Big Deal" razor for me. I've been wanting a razor done by Max since the first time I saw a SOTD post. Max's work is AMAZING and he is one heck of a nice guy. In case you couldn't tell, I'm a very satisfied customer! Thanks Max!

Have a great week gentlemen, you deserve it!
Wonderedges come in 1/4 hollow? I hadn't seen any till now
