    SOTD Tuesday October 26, 2010

    Razor: 1946 Gillette Milord DE
    Blade: Dorco Stainless Steel
Pre-Shave: Hot Towel & Proraso Crema Pre Barba
    Shaving Cream: Musgo Real
    Lather Bowl: Ceramic
    Scuttle: RAB Ceramic
    Brush: Col Conk Barbershop Badger
    ASB: Nivea Replenishing
    Aftershave/Cologne: No. 4711
    Results: BBS and comfortable!

It looks like I'm going to have to put the Pinaud Clubman and the Lustray Coachman on the back shelf. My DW complains about the horrible smell every time I use it so to keep the world a pleasant place I will forgo using these from now on. (This means I can get into the "nicer" (re-more expensive) EDC and ASL with impunity!) LOL

Now you're talking about some real ADs! If you want a few suggestions to get yourself started, I'm happy to oblige!

A great shave today with a new razor - Thiers Issard 6/8, hollow ground, mirror polish, thumb rest, and inverted square point.

I've got some fun ideas for tomorrow...

LOL, I would like to go crazy with the EDC/ASL AD's but I know there will still be repercussions! I'll have to pick and choose carefully. First I'll have to clear out some of the existing ones. LOL I appreciate the help though.

You know, I just couldn't wait for tomorrow...

I'm showing off, I know. Just received two new razors today and, uh, as long as I've got the camera out...

This one is the Thiers Issard Silver Wing II with rams horn. It's a 5/8 mirror finish. I also recently purchased the Mitchell's Wood Fat Shaving Soap - I did try that today and enjoyed it. It dried up a bit on my face, so I had to re-lather a bit more than usual, but all in all, no real complaints.
