Sounds like an afternoon well spent, Bruce!

Maybe you can schedule more Garden Club meetings for your wife!

Yeah Bill, it's like a "Get out of Jail Free" card. Our wives don't care where we go or what we do, they just want us to go so,....us guys take full advantage of it whenever we can! LOL

BTW: is that the new EF or old formulation? How do you like it?
I'm really liking the Kai. I use the Feather Professional blades which are very sharp. The Kai requires a light touch, but if used properly, gives a very close and comfortable shave.

This is the old formula. Just for info, one way you can tell (without having the ingredients list on the box) is by the bowl. The old Penhaligon's soaps have the kind (Blenheim Bouquest or English Fern) printed on the soap lid. The newer bowls just have "Penhaligons" on them.

Results: This razor isn't much of a looker, but it's quite a shaver. Mowed down 3 days of whiskers with a laid back 3 pass shave w/ no touchups. About as good as I've ever gotten. Even did well in the usual 'trouble spots'. Cream/soap combo was bracing! May have to clean this razor up and put some new scales on so it looks as nice as it shaves!

    Smooth shaving everyone!
Great shave, it sounds like...I actually think that there's a simplicity that gives your blade a classy and elegant look.
