Great start to this week's SOTD gentlemen . Have a great Sunday.
Love those scales! Great way to exploit those colors in the photo! Do you use Photo Shop to brong out the colors? Or is that the lighting that gives that effect?

    Thanks Wintchase,
The scales on this one is custom Madrone. I try to do little PS manipulation as I can. I do sometime pull the saturation/vibrance scale in Camera Raw (in PS) and exposure to accentuate the colors (this is one case in point) and brightness/level.

This razor is so good, it´s easy one of my best shavers - smooth as silk and sharp as a ninjas sword AS and brush was top notch aswell + I think this is my favourite Nanny soap. All in all, I had a very rewarding and nice shave today . _Very_ nice pics Max and eTom!!
I really like the fluidness (I dont think that is a real word) of those scales... Did you restore the originals, or is that a new set?

    Cool BO-RAS-IC Shave

    Razor: BO-RAS-IC LF&T(?) New York
Soap/Cream: Mama Bears Lilac Ice shave soap w/ Proraso shave cream
    AS: Witchhazel/Nivea ASB

Results: This razor isn't much of a looker, but it's quite a shaver. Mowed down 3 days of whiskers with a laid back 3 pass shave w/ no touchups. About as good as I've ever gotten. Even did well in the usual 'trouble spots'. Cream/soap combo was bracing! May have to clean this razor up and put some new scales on so it looks as nice as it shaves!

    Smooth shaving everyone!

Thank you! The original scales was real gems, but badly broken, these are vintage bone scales restored, slightly altered and matched to this razor by mr Miller in England.

Great! My DW's Garden Club Luncheon was a great success and I spent a great afternoon at my friend's house. He's a retired San Francisco Fire Department Chief. We pretty much solved most of the worlds problems in the three hours we were sitting there drinking some great Applegate Valley Merlot and chewing the fat! (Well, actually not fat, more like cheese and crackers.) LOL
