    Glenn,
Beautiful blade . I guess "Easy" does it, eh ?

The use of filtered or distilled water is a small thing that makes a HUGE difference in the quality, build and ease of making lather.

    Bill,
Nice Engels buddy . I have ordered the SRD Rose creme after sitting on the fence for awhile (since early October-ih). Can't wait to take it for a test drive.

PS: Sorry to hear about the bug . Get well soon my friend. I (and my wife) wish you a speedy recovery

That is a BE-UUUU-TI-FUL blade Otto. I saw one on eBay a couple of months back, but lost the bidding war.

Post Week of November 7 SOTD - Tuesday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Razor: 7/8" Le Grelot "Hospital" 14, 3/4 Hollow, Round Point
Brush: 22mm New Forest Silvertip Badger
Überlather: Floris №89 Shave Creme + Floris №89 "Triple Milled" Shave Soap + Glycerin
Astringent: Thayer's Witch hazel (Lavender, no alcohol)
    Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-Free Moisturizer
    AS Splash: Floïd Italian Blue
Result: FAN-TA-STIC!!!!! I received my new Floris triple milled soap №89 and shaving creme yesterday...It is said that this scent was a favorite of Ian Fleming and №89 takes its name from the number of the Floris shop, 89 Jermyn Street. Wowwww!!! I am (almost) speechless . The genesis of the überlather created by this dynamic duo, makes this blend one of the best combination soap/creme with amazing glide that I have had the pleasure of trying (triple milled soaps rule ). And that's just the beginning...The scent is out of this world; Orange and bergamot blended with lavender and neroli give the №89 its classical scent. Warmed with a touch of spicy nutmeg, the floral heart is underscored by the dominant woody accord of sandalwood, cedarwood and vetiver. If you have not tried a classic English style triple milled soap, this should be on your list...you will not be disappointed. Then comes the star of the show; The "Le Grelot". With her perfect 7/8" size, she instantly took charge and wiped the skin clean...zero irritation, zero stubble, 100% satisfaction .

Great images, and sounds like a wonderful set up. I was a little confused, though, did you like the Floris???

You have chosen a nice pair of scales for this razor Robert. As usual a very nice pic and description.
