    Default GRASSY VETIVER DAY!!!!

PREP: Hot shower with face scrub
    RAZOR: C-MON HF
    BRUSH: PJ3
UBER: VETIVER HEAVEN; SRD vetiver/ Cyril Vetiver
    ASTRINGENT: Thayers Superhazel
    ASB: Aqua Velva
    AS: Carven Vetiver
    EDT: Carven Vetiver
RESULT: SMOOTH< AND FEELING ONE WITH THE EARTH

Todays shave was one of the closest smoothest shaves I have ever had. I waited about 4 days as to have a lot of growth to hack off ,and the CMon took it all off without hesitation. Match that with the Uberlather of Vetiver and well I am in Vetiver Heaven. Decided to take a pic outside again and match the grassy smokiness of the vetiver with the background.

EXCELLENT PICS GUYS IM LOVING THIS WEEK !!!!!!!!!

    Monday 11/15/10

    The Griffon 5/8
    New Forest 2211
    Alraz "Da Bomb" Vetiver sc
    Thayers Cucumber WH w/ aloe
    CarrieM's (KD Creations) a/s milk
    Vetiver by Carven Edt

Three days growth gave my newly honed Griffon a test to be sure. I ran it over the coticule again as the first time I just don't think it was sharp enough. I managed a decent enough shave but I'll need to test it out again with only a day's growth to get a better feel for it's edge. More practice on the stone and more practice on the face...it's a good thing overall. And tomorrow will be even better than today.

    Robert,

It seems like the Tabac found a place in your heart. I felt the same way this Monday morning. I used the Tabac Uberlather this morning. SOTD pics coming tonight!

Nice Henckels...definitely a keeper. They have one of the best (and smoothest) edges around

Still struggling with my first straight shaves (4°)...it seems that I'm more proficient with my weak hand (the left one) and that it would be impossibile to shave my chin...the razor stupidly refuses to cut whiskers in that area!

No nicks, no cuts. So far, so good!

Good night guys...I'm going to Hogwarts right now...

Don't worry about the chin right now. I honestly think I just figured out how to shave my chin and it has been about 8 months for me.

    Keep it up...and great shot.
