Default A great Big THANK YOU TO ALL VERY NICE POST!!

    Hot Shower
    SRD Lime Soap
    Kent Pure Bristle
    Wade & Butcher
    Old Spice Classic

I hadn't used the Kent with this soap yet, but today's lather was awesome. It was just so easy to get great results. The Wade & Butcher just wiped my face clean in the usual three passes.

    Hi Robert,
Sorry that I did not get to the SOTD board yesterday. Thank you, I do love the Filli and the edge it took on the Coticule was fantastic for me. Unfortunately this is my first and only Coticule to date so I can not offer any comparison to other layers. I can tell you that I like the edge and the process much more than the Shaptons. So far all of the razors that I have honed on the Coticule have taken awesome edges.

Result: BBS. OMG, I just barely got these nagura out of the mail (thanks Seth) before I was putting this razor through JimR's nagura method. Stepped the shave readiness up several stops. So sharp I could scream, so smooth I didn't even notice.

Wowww Justin. Nice to hear about your giant leap in honing success . Naguras are great. I also found amazing results with raising slurry with the DMT and progressing all the way through water.

That is a great shot, and congratulations on achieving such a fine edge.

    Default Thursday morning

    Pre: Hot shower
Brush: New Forest silvertip (and two band)
    Razor C V Heljestrand no: 4
    Soaps: Myrica glycerin (Citrus Silk)
    AS: Old Spice Fresh Lime
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very, very clean
Soap test day: The Myrica worked, but needs more glide/slippery, but I liked it and the scent is very nice and high class, I think. The Citrus Silk has a lovely scent but it didnīt take off, so I didnīt use it - to dry and I couldnīt get the bubbles out of it. This was my first go with the soaps though, so take it with a grain of salt. I love this blade, very competent and even though I would have enjoyed more glide from the soap, I ended up uberclean

    Well said

I wish to to thank all the compliments on my pics and on the pics and shaves of the other members, I like so much reading people admiring other people in this world so rude.

But the best for me is not to read how do you like a shave but know that you will put your shaves and pics next to mine, thank you all for being there.

One day more proud to post my pics and shave in the SOTD thread of SRP
