    your question:

Mmm, they do look sooo nice! What grind is it?

    The answer:
at Rasurpur.de - Ihre Adresse für die Messerrasur Martin Nienberg wrote about this razor:
"6/8 Festonné Decorated Back - Mirror Polish

A very beautiful 6/8 razor with a decorated back and an inverted square point. The lower shank has a thumb rest. Very fine hollow ground (1/1), mirror polish and our exclusive etching "Fox and Rooster" and marvelous snakewood scales (Amourette).
This razors comes shave ready in a genuine leather pouch in a Thiers Issard carton.
The ideal gift for lovers and collectors of historical razors and for strong beards. (Light beards can be shaven with it too!)

These were the last ones from this type of blank. The next blades will be a little bit different (without thumb notch)!"

FW Engels Special (Fresh off Oozuku Suita)
    Kanayama (Leather Only)
    Shavemac Silvertip
Nanny's Citrus Zinger (Courtesy of Mikael)
    Thayer's Rose
    SCS Mediterranean Citrus Splash
    Pen's Blenheim Bouquet

An outstanding shave as I continue to test the stones. Today I went to the Engels which got 60 laps with botan slurry (refreshed once), 60 laps with tenjou slurry (refreshed once), 60 laps koma slurry (refreshed once), 100 laps honzan slurry (no refresh), and 50 laps water only. The result was a very nice smooth shave. I liked the feel of the edge on my skin. I didn't get the same keenness I've had the past two days from the Rex with 150 laps water, but a velvety edge.

The Nanny's soap was very nice. I liked the sweet citrus scent and it gave me a very slick shave. Thank you Mikael for letting me try the soap!

Result: BBS and ready to head to court!

Sounds like a Bomb went off in Sweden and it left glorious suds all over Mikael's bathroom! Glad you liked the Bomb, brother! It pleases me greatly to be able to share such a wonderful product with one who brightens each of my days with the wonderful shaves you post!!

Thank you for the Nanny's soap today, it gave me a very nice shave!

PS - The razor isn't too bad... If it needs a warm safe place to spend those cold Swedish winters, just let me know. I have a cozy spot for it next to some other razors so that it won't get lonely!
