Week of December 5 SOTD - Thursday
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Razor: 7/8" Scheön Burg #775, Full Hollow, Spike Point Brush: 22mm Vulfix Super Badger Überlather: CarrieM "Sleigh Ride" Shave creme + Cella Shave Soap + Glycerin Astringent: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol) Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer After Shave Splash: Floïd Spanish Blue Result: Today's shave is for Brad (aka, Ganboyi). I promised him a comparison between the Scheön Burg and the Manaslu (which I used yesterday). Well, they are very similar in (almost) every physical characteristics such as size, form and grind. I don't know anything about the steel used in each though. If they are different, they certainly don't feel like it to me. I could not tell/feel a difference in their shaving performance either. They are kissing cousins. At any rate, I got a fantastic shave with this blade and using a new CarrieM custom creme (the "Sleigh Ride") to get me in the holiday mood.

I wish everyone a Fantastic Thursday.

Lovely, simply lovely . Sometimes recycled pictures work just as well when you are pressed for time.
Glenn,
All I can say is: . Nice combo blade/creme. Way to go buddy
I hope it never comes to not shaving for years...What a waste that would be.
Those brushes look AWESOME . Lucky recipients
You are becoming quite the experimentalist Bill . I love it. So, are Suita harder/softer than Asagi...generally speaking? I found that my Suita/Asagi hybrid stone is an amazing polisher too.
I am sure the picture would have turned out marvelous. Nice setup Mark
Nice shot José. Loving every bit of this setup.
