    Default Sunday Morning

    Location: Bay Area California
    Razor: Juan Vollmer- Palmera 14
Brush: Simpson Polo 10- 2 Band
    Soap: SRD Bulgarian Rose
Astringent: Burt's Bees Rose Water Skin Toner
    AS: None Needed

BBS all the way, I absolutely love this razor! This was my very first vintage razor purchase/auction win from e-bay. I remember sitting at work on my lunch break as the auction was ending counting down the seconds all to see those wonderful green letters instructing me to send the payment, never have I been so happy to spend my money haha. I immediately called our good friend Max in my excitement as this was one of the razors he highly recommended to me and I cannot thank him enough! Every time I take out the Palmera I get nothing less then a perfect shave. Not as "frilly as the Fili's" with their gold wash but this blade is arguably just as sharp and hopefully after the first of the year I'll be dressing it up a bit with some Butter Scotch Micarta scales, I think those will look quite nice with the Palm Tree logo.

    Default SUNDAY MORNING SHAVE

PREP: Hot shower with face scrub and hot towels
    RAZOR: Folding Kamisori
    BRUSH: Polo 10
SOAP: The Bomb in Sweet Neroli
    ASTRINGENT: Lucido
    ASB: Lucido
    EDT: Guerlains Habit Rouge
RESULT: Best shave I have gotten to date !!!!

Well it seems fitting after a year at SRP I would get JRAD. David (Nubskillz) graciously let me borrow this blade after I had been asking for it for awhile. It was the best shave I have ever gotten. It just glided through my 4 days growth with ease. I used The bomb for some cushion and as always it preformed excellently. I am really starting to love the Lucido products the asb was nice and refreshing.and after a couple of squirts from Habit Rouge and I couldn't be happier. Total BBS and Zen Like.

AMAZING PICS THIS WEEK AND LAST WEEK GENTLEMEN !!! A BIG "THANK YOU" TO EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATES !!!!

Did you go down on your knees and asked in a high pitch tone, like: "please, please, please"? Lol Very nice blade and pic (I´m not taking any out door pics until April)!
