I was thinking exactly the same thing Rene!
Congratulations Jeff!! Way to be persistent, you deserve a great shave after putting in proper time and effort. Well done sir, well done!
p.s. I love the cartridges used to keep the Razors open, very nice! .357 for your former duty .357?Last edited by sharp; 12-13-2010 at 04:51 AM.

Glenn,
Back in the day my service gun was a blue steel S&W Model 19 .357 cal. revolver. When we when transitioned to pistols I carried a S&W.45 645/4506. I shot well with the Model 19 and the Model 645 and 4506. When I went to the detectives they gave me a little .40 cal that I hated. I could barely hold onto the thing because my hand did not fit onto the grip and it kicked like a horse.
I now have a Glock .357 which are the cartridges you see. Nice pistol, it has the tritium sights and fits my hand perfectly. Also easily concealed.Last edited by Maximilian; 12-13-2010 at 03:17 PM. Reason: compressed quoting to help keep our SOTD tidy

In the final years my Dad was on the force, they transitioned from .357 revolvers to 10mm semi-autos. His feedback was very similar to what you are describing. Dad has never really liked semi-autos and is more a revolver guy. He would always say he could clean his revolver in the dishwasher if he wanted to and still know that it was going to work flawlessly. I've not shot the .357 Glocks, but they intrigue me, sounds like you have a nice one
