Caswell-Massey
Hey Michael,
I never tried CM until the wife picked up a small tube of the unscented shave cream at a yard sale for me to try. I use cheap old Van Der Hagen or soap made from goats milk by a lady here in Missouri. (She makes excellent soap by the way.)
I started putting a small dab of the CM shave cream on my brush and then lathering as usual. The lather is much thicher and richer, but I did have to use more water in my brush.
Have a good one.
Bill

Great shaves and pictures everyone, I'm still rocking the scruffy look, but a shave will be coming soon!
Max, amazing work on your own custom. I hope to see these leaving the prototype stage and be available for mass consumption sometime soon.

Monday 1/10/11
Prep:Hot towell
Brush:TGN Custom 24mm
Strop:SRD PIV English Bridle 50 laps
Scuttle: SRD
Cream: Frankincense, Myrrh, & Vetiver bomb
Razor: Dubl Duck Wonderedge by Max
After shave: Frankincense, Myrrh, & Vetiver ASB
EDT: Cartier “Roadster”
Result: A wonderful shave with the Dubl Duck. I always enjoy a luxurious shave prior to traveling. I normally have time to post on travel days, but not yesterday. Let's just say that I flew out of a snow storm, into a snow storm, and drove into an ice storm after being stranded in Charlotte (they closed the airport due to running out of de-icer) and the airline refusing to give me my checked bag (Very important meeting I had to be at this morning). I made it to my Hotel safely(normally about a 1.25 hour drive from CLT or a 25 minute drive from Greensboro, NC where my flight was headed) after a 3 hour drive on snow packed and ice covered highways (arived at 2:15am). So I had my laptops, the clothes on my back, & a few bare essentials...but not straight razor
So today's shave went like this:
Tuesday 1/11/11
Prep:Hot shower
Brush:AOS Pure Badger
Cream: Body Shop Maca root (picked it up in CLT airport)
Razor: Disposable *!@* from the front desk
After shave: Cold water splash
EDT: I wish
Result:I found myself instinctively stretching and I got a surprisingly good shave all things considered. My bag surfaced in Greensboro, so I drove to Greensboro after work tonight and got it. I don't think I will ever take my straight shaves forgranted ever again. I guess I'm going to have to get a DE back up for the carry on
Thanks for letting me ramble gentlemen, great shaves (looked at many of them on the blackberry while waiting at the airport).
