Tuesday morning:
Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Omego Pro boar
Razor: Merkur 34C w/ Red Personna blade
Soap: Cella
Splash: Aqua Velva Blue

Wonderful 2 pass shave. Very smooth. Between the Cella and the Burt's Bees ASB my face feels like a winner.

Amen brother.
Mark...no picture???!!!
Justin,
And that is exactly why I keep my cremes in the fridge and only take out enough (0.2 oz) to fill a sample jar.
Nice SOTD though
He's alive, LOL. Congratulations Frank and nice 2nd shave as a married man (assuming you saved yesterday)
Phil,
Sounds like a very nice shave indeed. Enjoy the rest of your day
Uh oh...sorry to hear it David and hope you recover fast. Let me know if you need anything
Nice choice David.
Bruce,
That is one gorgeous FR. Very nice...excuse me while I wipe the drool off my face (and keyboard)
Nathan,
Can't go wrong with any Wosty. Sounds like a nice blade. Well done
Thanks maestro. My Torolf linen strop is designed to replace the webbed fabric on the SRD Premium IV. The Neil Miller linen is stand alone. I will have to check with Neil and see of he can customize it to fit and replace the webbed fabric (with the holes and all)
Yosh,
Sounds like a winning shave...Cella rocks
Very nice shot Tesite. Well done

Thanked: 1072Thanks Robert. #101 Pg 11, is my C12K. I made a pine box for it a few weeks ago, and cut an inch off the end of it for a slurry stone.
The apprenticeship is going well, I'm really enjoying learning new things. Working in a kitchen is a lot like working in a fabrication or metal workshop, just different tools, and different end products, but in essence you still just making stuff, which is what I like to do. Thanks for asking.

Tuesday 2/22
This is my first SOTD post. I finally had a shave that was worthy of commemorating. This was the first time I completed an entire straight razor shave and didn't need to do any clean up with the Mach 3. Good riddance!
Pre-Shave: Hot Shower
Brush: Vestavia 25mm Silver Tip
Razor: Boker Edelweiss 5/8 w/ bone scales
Strop: SRD 3" Premium I - 50 strokes
Lather: TOBS Sandalwood Soap, Trumper Sandalwood Cream, Glycerine
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Lavender)
After Shave: Nivea Sensitive
No wounds sustained. Still need to work on mustache and chin technique.
