    Default 2.26.11

Having friends over for dinner tonight and I'll be making carnitas. Viva la vida! Some really great SOTD's are cropping up today.

    Pre-Shave: Shower
    Brush: Vestavia 25mm Silver Tip
Razor: Boker Edelweiss 5/8 w/ bone scales
    Strop: SRD 3" Premium I - 30/50 fabric/leather
Lather: SRD Blood Orange soap, TOBS Lemon & Lime cream, glycerin
    Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Lavender)
After Shave: GFT Lime Skin Food

The soap combination gave a most invigorating scent that really made my day.

Brush - New Forest 2205 Super Badger (first time use, WOW)

    Dove 5/8 greybone
    SRD Opus X soap
    Futur silvertip
    Alum block
    Adidas a/s

Was my first shave with both the Dovo as well as the Opus X.
Opus X has a manly scent, with notes of tobacco and whiskey.
The Dovo was picked up on the SRP classifieds from Don, and
    was honed by Lynn.

    3 passes, bbs

Itīs a fact, I canīt stand MWF ... 4 inches wide rash on the chin and a major wood fire feeling when I aplied the AS. Razor was excellent though. No more lanolin for me, I guess

Beautiful White Scales, very nice Razor !

Result:After no shave yesterday and seeing Glen's (Gssixgun) Kama, I was inspired to use the Kama I got from him. 2 passes was all that was needed. A very relaxing, effortless shave. I did give myself a slice on the chin when going XTG, still an amazing shave.

    Cheers!
