Received a shipment from SRD the other day, this was my first opportunity to try the new acquisitions out.

    Ern straight razor
    Buffalo hide strop from srd
    Pasted paddle strop
    Futur silvertip from srd
    Vanilla bourbon soap from srd
    Alum block
    Srp tobacco a/s balm

3 passes bbs. Loved all of the new supplies. The brush could've been a tad larder, but it performed well and that is what matters.

Thank you! When I first got the suggestion, for transparant scales, I wasn´t that thrilled, but it turned out nicely on this blade, I think.

Well...It's on order and shipped already so we'll see in several days.

PS: I've been doing a bit of research (articles etc) in my free time and learning some interesting facts about the chemistry and biochemistry of scents (Essential Oils and Sandalwood in general). Once I finish, I will be posting in a thread some of my thoughts about these scents. The whole thing is incredibly interesting and complex.
Aha, ok... Well, forget about my ramblings then Please l us know!

    Soap: Nannys The Spicy one
    AS: Mennen

Since I got my new SWK scuttle I´ve been having warm lather, but I remembered today that Nannys soaps doesn´t like it to hot and it worked out very fine and this new formula is really nice (as is the old, for me they´re the top ranking soaps).
