I had not shaved in several days. The razor performed flawlessly and I really enjoyed the thickness and scent of the Acca Kappa. Perfect combination of razor and shave cream.

Prep: Hot shower – followed by Robeson bay rum (mentholated) beard prep method
SS/SC: SRD “Opus X” + Erasmic = Superlather
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 "Super Badger"
Strop: VB Red Latigo--40 fabric; 55 leather
Razor: 5/8” Black Beauty
Astringent: Dickinson's Witch hazel
ASB: Gillette Aftershave Gel “Sensitive Skin”
AS: Aqua Velva “Classic”
Result: A classic shave.

It just doesn't get much better than this. The intent was to do a Hollywood shave (3 passes) but the razor was so sharp that I could have easily gotten away with 1 pass. The second was nearly academic so I didn't even bother with a third. Bravo! For the new guy from Ekelstuna!

Nannys soap was a mad and spicy one today - Sthlick´s the main word. The new formula seems very nice indeed and prob a notch or two better than the old one, how´s that even possible I don´t know. The Ever Ready was a nice change of path, it produces a very cool sound when shaving, almost like a delicate/very thin full-extra hollow straight. It´s so easy to shave the neck with a saftey razor , but I got a little to close on one or two spots (no nicks though).

Results: A Beautiful shave today. This TI delivered an exceptionally smooth and irritation free shave. The Pré de Provence was a great choice for this gorgeous Friday.

I could get a nice shaving edge using the Norton alone. The other two are just frosting on the cake.

Best frosting on the cake that I've ever heard of. Very nice.

it was absolutely awesome. I think that since Rudy also can get access to Shavemac knots, my next brush may be a Shavemac in an unusual handle.
