    Default Wednesday 3.9

Today is a SOML (Shave of My Life) instead of an SOTD.

Did a four pass shave for the first time WTG, XTG in both directions, then ATG. Up till now I've only done three passes WTG and then XTG in both directions. That gave good results and I wasn't able to do ATG.

My touch has improved a lot so I decided to give it a try and I didn't get any razor burn or nicks. An alum block to give my finger traction helped a lot. Now I know what BBS really means. My face is smooooooooooth. Still have a lot to learn but boy is it paying off!

    Pre-Shave: Shower
    Brush: Vestavia 25mm Silver Tip
Razor: Boker Edelweiss 5/8 w/ bone scales
    Strop: SRD 3" Premium I - 30/50 fabric/leather
Lather: Pre de Provence soap, Pre de Provence cream, glycerin
    Toner: Alum Block
    After Shave: Ogallala Bay Rum
After Shave Balm: Pre de Provence a/s balm
Cologne Splash: Ogallala Bay Rum cologne

    Rene-

Did you shave with the straight razor or with the helicopter?

    Default HUMP DAY

Good shave this evening. White Bone Bismarck Sq. Point. ( my 2nd Bismark of the week starting my own theme) I muted the point on this razor, this one always seemed to bite me. Makes the shave that much more enjoyable.
    HAVE A GREAT SHAVE.
