    Friday, March 11th

    Razor: Edwin Jagger DE86
    Blade: Gillette SharpEdge (Yellow)
    Brush: Simfix Grosvenor
    Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
    Soap: Irisch Moos
A/S: Acca Kappa Cedro after shave splash

Another excellent shave. The Edwin Jagger DE86 suits me well and I always get a great shave from it. The Acca Kappa Cedar (Cedro) aftershave is quickly becoming a favorite. Although it is called Cedar, the scent is actually a combination of many things and I barely detect any cedar. That being said, it is very pleasant and a good year round aftershave. There is a bit of castor oil added to the mix (although not as much as in Musgo Real) and I find the skin conditioning properties to be excellent.

Robert, excellent coordination of the woods! That may just be the coolest brush around!

Mikael, I looked at Nanny's site, but did not see "The Spicy One" listed. Is this a special for you or a discontinued flavor?

    Thank you.
    I'm going to use the Norton 4000 / 8000,
the Chinese Guangxi polishing hone aka. C12k
and the Osaki Japanese natural finishing hone
    .
I could get a nice shaving edge using the Norton alone. The other two are just frosting on the cake.
