Thank you Jim but this glass should be raised to everyone participating in this forum.
...and Max: I raise my glass to you and your health
Thanks brother
Thank you Rene. And what's there not to like about this razor? And best of all, it 's a special gift (sentimental value...priceless)
Spectacular Revisor Tom. Thank you for sharing this beauty with us
Otto,
What a gorgeous Friodur. I wished they made the Spanish point version in 7/8" too
Chip,
My pleasure mate and thank you, but it is you who deserves the credit for participating and posting.
Outstanding photo Lars and a great shave indeed. Well done
Wowww Birnando,
I am jealous. This is a beautiful Globusmen with a fabulous workback. Simply beautiful. Way to go maestro.
Nice razor Jeff, but sorry to hear about the irritation. The 12K should be fine...maybe not enough time on it. Or if you have a natural, try it (light touch)...just my 2 cents. If you don;t have a natural and are interested, send it to me and I'll do it for you, if you trust me, LOL (just email me).
Great way to start Friday
And rightfully so Glenn. Congratulations on a job well done
Mikael,
All around, gorgeous everything. I love the worked back of your Friodur. That Shavemac is HUUUUUGE. I love it. Well done
Awesome Friodur Fonti (Bela? is that your real name (judging from what Tom calls you?)).
Beautiful Gotta Grant. Is the custom part, what you did to the spine and heel? I love it.
Very nice Amund
Rene,
Beautiful blades all 3 of them. At least your daughter didn't hurt herself. Usually, this signifies that they are looking for attention, LOL. You need a display box with a lock, LOL
Haaaaaa. These days, that would be considered child abuse. When we were growing up it was called discipline. But Rene, she destroyed other razors (seriously?)?
Nice one John
Welcome Chad. Great to have you here. What a nice entrance
Excellent Béla (I gotta get used to this...I have always known you as Fonti)

Week of March 13 SOTD - Friday
Rasur mit einem Friodur auf deutsche Art und Weise- sehr schön
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush (Rudy Vey): 26mm w/TGN Grade A Silvertip Badger Razor: 7/8" Friodur INOX w/scalloped back, Full Hollow, Spike Point (Black paper micarta scales by Max) Strop: 45/65 Neil Miller linen/Premium IV leather Überlather: L'Occitane "Cade" Shave Creme + L'Occitane "Cade" Shave Soap + Glycerin Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol) Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Blue Results: This beautifully rescaled Friodur was the choice for today, and rightfully so. She delivered an astonishingly close shave. Coupled with the Cade-based überlather, she was effortlessly gliding and wiping the weeds growing on my face. It was a beautiful site to behold; with every pass, the disappearance of lather was concomitant with the emergence of an ever smoother skin. FANTASTIC in every way ...BBS and super smooth. I have a meeting with the City of Hope management team today and this shave has definitely left me with a smiling face . I am ready to tackle the day. Wunderbar .
