Bill: Absolutely stunning razor! I love how widely spaced the jimps are and how they creep onto the spine. Just beautiful! Congratulations buddy...enjoy it. Nice software too!

So, let me get this straight (no pun intended, LOL): Someone else (and we know who this is) from the US is getting a Buddel custom (from Europe), but you (from Europe) have "distance" issues getting a Max rescale/custom (from US), LOL, LOL ?

Excellent razor maestro. I almost reached for my #13 this AM too, but decided to go with the Böker

I am using yesterdays twin razor for today. Honed them on 2 different honing systems from bevel-set and up.
Another beautiful teaser Birnando. Well done. Just out of curiosity, how did you hone up the two blades (stones, etc...)? and which system do you like better? I love honing experimentation myself.

    Brad,
Fantastic to see you in SOTD brother and congrats. These are some stunning blades. I love the frameback buddy. BTW: is your article published in that book? I love the one you sent me awhile back. Very nicely written and educational.

Fantastic brush Mikael. I like the Pauna base too. Way to go Bill...that's the kind of handle you need on a brush to go with your new buddel.

O'Botacario (Brazilian) is a little known manufacturer of men's and women's fragrances. It's difficult to find in the USA, but imho it can't be beat as a great finish to a shave.
    Nice razor Monroe.

PS: So, where did you get the O'Botacario from?

An official congratulations in in order. She's a beauty my friend. I love those Damascus like patterns on her and the curves on this razor: Fabulous and sexxxxxy!! Enjoy it...but, Tom has to approve your application first, LOL

I love this razor Grant. Very very nice. She deserves a good honing.

PS: How's your hand healing? and did you recover from the kids' birthday parties, LOL?

    Rene,
You probably have "multi-quote" still selected...that's probably why. Deselect and you should be fine.

Thumbs up Week of April 3 SOTD - Tuesday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Brush (Rudy Vey): 26mm TGN Grade A Silvertip Badger w/ Kingwood handles
Razor: 7/8" Böker "Finest Silver Steel", Extra Hollow Ground, Round Point
Strop: 40/55 (Neil Miller linen/Premium IV leather)
Überlather: Acca Kappa "1869" Almond Shave Creme + Acca Kappa "1869" Almond Shave Soap + Glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol)
    Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer
After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Amber
    Cologne: Acca Kappa "1869" EdC
Results: As if you can't tell, but today is Acca Kappa day...all the way. The creme is fabulous and soap is 'meh' (but I love the Wenge bowl. It is stunning), but together; a very delightful combination!!! This software required nothing less than outstanding hardware. Hence the Böker and the Rudy Vey brush. What a fantastic feeling ...My face is lit up right now (in a very good way). Super smooth and super BBS. I have to fight off my wife's urges to constantly run her hand across my face .

    Have a FANTASTIC Tuesday gentlemen.
