    Robert, Thank you for the compliment! Photography compliments coming from you mean a lot to me.

    The statuettes are certainly Peruvian and yes, they are mainly seen in the south of Peru. So, yes....from the Cuzco area. They symbolize health and unity in marriage and are typically given as a gift when two people get married.

    Prep:Hot Shower
    Brush:TGN 20mm Silvertip Custom in Emerald Swirl
    Strop:SRD PI Paddle Strop
    Cream:SRD Opus X
    Razor: Dovo “Best Quality”
    After shave: Pinaud Clubman
    EDT: Drakar Noir


    Result: I only had 10 minutes to shave today. I got in 2 very quick passes and I was presentable. The shave wasn't BBS, not quite DFS, but it was quick, enjoyable (well...as enjoyable as anything rushed can be), and I had zero irritation. Tomorrow will be better.

    Cleaned up the Real Hamburg Ring today and honed it. Has some heft to it and honed up easily aside from me dinging the toe on the sink and having to start over again...

    Result: Very clean
