    David,
I like "Blade/shave on a stick". Very creative title and very fitting too. Too funny, LOL

    Ben,
What a nice shave on an off day. Hope you had a great day off. Beautiful TB w/covered tang, wonderful soap, and of course, that Ogallala (BR/L/PC) really is a great scent.

Beautiful Klas T. Andy. What a nice shave with some wonderful hardware/software

So today's shave was pretty good, but not outstanding, and I picked up my first shaving cut of the year
That hone does look interesting. I'd be curious to hear the experts' opinion on this as well. Sorry about the cut buddy, but it does happen.

Wow, really a tough question Robert. To be honest I got a really good edge on the Henckels, and have a shave-able edge on the Kobar, but not like I know it could be. My skills on the hones run hot and cold still, and remain a little cold on the Kobar. If I could ever get the edge right on it, it may turn out to be one of my best razors. Who knows, I may have to send her out for a hone job, if somebody was willing to run it thru the rocks I'd be more than willing to send it buddy ?
BTW that 6/8" Solgen "Real Japanese Hollow Ground", Full Hollow Ground, Truncated French/Angled Spike Point is a fantastic lookin razor ! Thanks Robert

after crunching all the numbers, this shave cost me approximately $6 + or - 1.
FEEL FREE TO MAKE FUN OF MY SHAVING EQUIPMENT!
however, overall it was a good shave. i did three passes. WTG, XTG, and ATG. no razor burn and one little nick.
i really like the shavette because it's easy and CHEAP. you can get a 'straight razor shave' while your away on vacation or your razor is out getting honed (i only have one straight razor).
