Thanks JH! , too be honest I liked my full hollows more than my wedges/near wedges but after dialing in on this wosty it gave me a fantastic shave, u should definitely consider getting one

    Default Wednesday

Up and at it bright and early today.
Half an hour of alone time in the bathroom this morning. Sweet!

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: Merkur Futur Silvertip 22mm
Razor: Mastro Livi 8/8", French point. Stainless ATS34
Strop: Kanayama #90000 Tri strop. 30/30/50
    Soap/Cream: Al's Shaving cream, Calypso
    Astringent: Alum
After shave Balm: Alraz ASB Calypso
    EdT: Penhaligon's English Fern
Results: A wonderfully smooth and relaxing shave. A good way to spend a half hour in the morning. Adele's 21 streaming out from the speakers. The Mastro Livi is such an awesome shaver, the whiskers fall off silently and effortlessly. And to finish it up, a generously sized pris of Snus under the lip! Great

Great Hollywood shave! Now this is BBS 3 passes and a touch up. Love the new cologne, wonder how much shipping costs from Spain will be.

    .

    Razor: Le Grelot 6/8
    Strop: Ambrose Spanish Horse 25/50
    Brush: Vie-Long E16510
Lather: Woods of Windsord soap + Cyril R. Salter French Vetiver cream
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
AS: La Toja Manantiales ASL + La Toja Sensitive ASB
EdT: Parfums de Nicolai Cedrat Cologne
Summary: I wanted to test my new waterstone (MST Müeller) and I have chosen a known razor, very clean and close shave, I am still learning, and I hope I can improve the edge, but for a first attempt I have a very good feedback. The überlather is new to me, but I am imitating Robert, if it's good for him it will be good for me, and it is, the dense lather of the Woods of windsor with the "earthy" scent of the Cyril Salter cream. This way I can spend the products of my cabinet, I have too many soaps and creams....(yes SCAD and SSAD) . The La Toja Manantiales has the same scent of the regular La Toja, but less powerful, more elegant, I like a lot this scent.

Good luck mate. Looking forward to seeing some pics of your handy-work.

    Default One for Amund (Nightbreed)

Amund, hope you get a chance to read SOTD this week
Been thinking about you today. I came across this photo while looking through a folder in the computer. It was taken shortly after Jacky Boy was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, and we were living in Ronald McDonald House. The razor itself kind of seemed symbolic too, Its been out of the rotation for a while but after a honing session on the weekend it has made a comeback.
    Hope your doing the same...
