Razor: MoDoSo Solingen 6/8 rescaled in ebony
    Strop: Ambrose Spanish Horse 25/50
    Brush: Vulfix Grosvenor+Simpson superbadger
Lather: Woods of Windsord, old fórmula with tallow
    AS: B.Kamins Bio Maple Balm
    EdT: Fragonard Cologne Grand Luxe
Summary: Yesterday I touched up this edge, this is not a great razor, but it can shave with efficiency. The soap is one of my favs, and after this great lather. The balm is not a maple syrup, is a fresh balm, with extracts from the maple, it's good but nothing special....but....those canadians can make everything with maple. Fragonard is classy, perfect for daily use

Stunning Razor Robert, and a great shot to show it off.

Thanks mate. Only trick to getting a perfect fitting wedge is to finish it in place. These days I use microfasteners to hold the rough cut wedge in place and then finish sanding and polishing the scales and wedge together. Works like a charm, I'm a little OCD about having them really nice but I think it's worth it.

Lots of fantastic posts and pics already this week, thanks boys its a feast for the senses.

    Brush: FS Finest Badger
    Soap: Tabac
    Razor: GEM SE
    Astringent: Thayer's Witch Hazel
    A/S: Old Spice
Result: Well to be honest I like the photo better than the shave.
I dont blame the razor I think the blades weren't up to the task. They were sold in a Chemist's in the shaving section but labeled as single edge scraper blades. Unfortunately the shave was very poor, but I have had no luck finding Single Edge blades, even on line I haven't found any yet. I recently unearthed this Gem razor in my Dads garage, it belonged to his Dad so for sentimental reasons I'd like to have it usable. Any tips on acquiring SE blades please let me know.
Hope you guys have better shaves today.
