Robert, are you trying to pull a fast one by calling this one of your Maxterpieces? LOL

BTW, have you decided how much a ticket will cost us to come to your house so we can tour the Maxeum?

    BBS all tha way !!
    For Real
Got this one in the mail this AM and
had to try her out, I have determined
that it's easier to get a BBS shave for
me with 2 to 3 passes with an SE Razor
than with my Straights. Now don't get
me wrong, I can achieve a DFS every
time my straights, just takes more effort
to get a BBS shave with a straight than
with an SE Razor. Now I don't look to achieve
a BBS Shave every time I shave, just a
close, comfortable non irritating shave in
the morning is what I'm lookin for. But
these SE Razors I've been using lately
give a BBS Shave with no effort, except
for bring careful, as with any razor, at all !!!
wish my Straights were this easy.

Thank you very much to everyone, and especially to those I knew from foroafeitado. I am glad to see familiar names in this forum.

The razor I used in this picture is one of my favorite ones. It is an Iberia 8/8, very similar to a Filarmónica, but much better in my opinion.

Again, thank you very much for this warm welcome.

My Merkur HD is my "go to" razor" whenever I'm in a hurry--like today. It, along with the Lord Super Stainless blade and TOBS "Rose" shaving cream provided me with a wonderful shave.

    Strop: DOVO
    razor: Macero 700
Brush: a very old Omega boar
    soap: proraso

    Easter,..... and camping.
An old razor and brush resulting in a good shave. With cold water and the sun on your head it is pretty good for you to shave. (24 degrees)
I love this kind of shaves

Thanks Grant. I love the Simmons, she shaves wonderfully. You'll have to share some of your restoration secrets with me...especially any about how to get the wedge so perfect

Absolutely awesome Teiste. Love the way the Vie Long casts a protective shadow over the MR and DE.

No, no , no!!!! No fast ones!! I meant I was going through many Maxterpieces lately and didn't have time to pay attention to the non-Maxterpieces like this Boker

Ticket prices? What a neat idea...I like the way you think. I wonder how much of the proceeds will go to Max? after all, he's probably copyrighted his designs etc...

Haaaaa. You're on a roll Mark. I feel the same way about str8 shaving as you do with the SE. Achieving BBS with a straight is a breeze (believe it or not, much more so than with a DE)...I almost forgot how to shave with a DE, LOL.

Now, that's not fair. You're not helping our RAD here, LOL. We welcome you with open arms and you turn around and show us something that's better than a Filarmonica, LOL? That is unfair, LOL.

I love the shot and your gear. Very well done maestro. I sometimes don't post too often in foroafeitado because of time constraints but love that forum as well. I read every post despite lack of time to comment. Great folks there as well (wish I knew Spanish though)

Sounds like a great one indeed. Love that blade too. Never heard of it (showing my ignorance here, LOL)

    Frank,
What a nice shave. I don't know why, but I thought you had sold your Edelweiss?

Thanks Monroe. That Böker is nice, but not a Maxterpiece. I guess Bill also misunderstood my post. Sorry guys for the misrepresentation. This Böker is as original as they come...directly from the den of Don (and Lynn) to mine.

That is very good to hear Glenn...Life is what counts here. Most "Stuff" can always be replaced. That region has experienced some major nasty weather as of late.
