Thanked: 1185Prep: Hot Shower, Baby Oil Gel
Razor: Boker Red Injun 102
Brush: Semogue 2000
Soap: VDH Deluxe
AS: Alum Block, Nivea ASB, Skin Bracer
Finish: British Sterling
Result: A wonderful shave this Boker is another one that just seems to get sharper with use.
Grant,
Here's a good source for SE blades. Even here, good quality SE blades are getting hard to find. These are the Ted Pellas, as good as they get. If this looks like a lot of money to pay, notice that this price is for two boxes of 100 blades each. This will solve your problem for a LONG time.

The EVIL forces were at work this past week. Yes RAD!! I heard many great things about this LARGE Dovo 55 from a well known Maxaholic! I could not resist. Ha like i tried very hard! I was able to find one at Shavingshop.com. Well she lived up to all the talk. 2 passes was all she needed.
Great post men!

I wasn't going to shave today, but decided to do a simple one (no picture). Used the DE and Ogallala Bay Rum + CarrieM Bay Rum. Great stuff and a nice DFS shave .
Nice Wosty Tom
Thank you Mikael...My wife does get engaged in my shaves often and enjoys the results. I like that. She's a very good sport
Jose,
Nice shots buddy. The backdrop looks heavenly. The gear looks great too, but I must say when it comes to maple, I like to eat it, not wear it, LOL
Nice score Mikael. Those Bergs can be wonderful shavers. Are you going to fully hone her up or are you satisfied with the edge?
Bill,
Simple and effective. But, it does look like you have an early and busy day. Have a good one my friend
A fantastic & unique razor B. Congrats on giving her an edge she deserves.
Nice Maxterpiece Otto
Fine looking brush and razor Béla. Peter makes nice quality brushes
Thanks Grant. But now I understand why many mistook this Boker as a Maxterpiece. I had labeled her a as such. This is what happens when you copy and paste from the last post. I'll be more careful next time.
Sorry to hear about the shave Grant. But, as they say, you gotta have all the right tools for the right job. I am sure some of the other SE using gents in this forum will chime in to suggest where to get the right blades. Once there, I am certain that this shave will belong in the books. Great photo though
Nice Boker-ized shave GI
Niiiiiiiiiicely done blueman
Hehehehe...I wonder who would do such an evil thing to you, LOL? Nice Dovo buddy. But, I must say, like Max, John puts a killer edge on a blade. Now, to fully enjoy the beauty of this blade, you gotta have her Maximized, LOL. One has to be very careful about turning into a Maxoholic, LOL.Last edited by BladeRunner001; 04-26-2011 at 02:35 PM.

Love this Girl !!!
Kobar Straight
Omega Pro 49
Provence Sante
Nivea Cooling Post A/S Balm
Florida Water
Back on the straight track today !!!
Wonderful smooth and close shave today
Fantastic Results, slowed down a bit and
started listening to my girl, love her music
and went for BBS shave today, low and
behold after two slow, smooth, long passes
and some touch up, I got a near BBS Shave !!!
Very close and a tad bit better than just
a DFS. I owe this shave to the wonderful

Awesome shave today. Havent used proraso in a long time and wanted to use it solo, and it was a great lather. The Wosty wiped away my whiskas with ease, and topped it off with the Amazing Jean Paul Gaultier

Thanked: 33
Razor: Futur (0n 2 for the head, 4 for the face)
Blade: Supermax stainless
Brush: Turkish Horsehair #7
Soap: Arko pressed in an old spice mug
Finishing touch: aqua Velva , AVon ASB, Royal Copenhagen cologne
I read a review that this blade couldn't cut butter ? It is becoming my favorite head shaving blade, smooth and gentle. With blades as everything shave related, YMMV. The #7 is another Turkish horsehair brush, finally got it de-funked and gave it a whirl. I must say " it is good". 2 passes on the noggin 3 passes on the face and I've been rewarded by the shave God's with creamy lather and another BBS shave. Life is good.
Great shaves today, gentlemen.
