Love your setup today! First I thought you didn´t have a Maxterpiece in todays SOTD, but of course you had. It´s time to set him free now, he needs to get out of your sweatshop, errhh, basement and back to his real home
Haaaaaaaaaaa. That's too funny Mikael. Thank you for the kind words though.

    Jeff,
The Turnpike is a nightmare when there is a crash (or come to think of it...every time that I remember, LOL). Congrats to your daughter surviving the Freshman year at PS and more importantly coming home. I bet you're on cloud 9. What about your other daughter?

    PS: Great shave btw

Prep: Hot Shower, Baby Oil Gel
    Razor: Texas Shumate (circa 1904)
    Brush: Omega Boar
    Soap: Williams
AS: Alum Block, Corn Huskers Lotion, Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Finish: Clubman Bay Rum

Now this is really about as old school as it gets. As expected there were a few linger time issues with the Williams soap. It's not Mitchell's Wool Fat by a long shot but ridiculous quantities of water seemed to mitigate the problem somewhat. Overall, I'd say it's a decent serviceable soap but I still prefer VDH.
