What do the O, H and W stand for???
He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

GFT Spanish Leather Cologne
After a long weekend in Oneonta, NY watching baseball games (Brockport won 5 - three against Oneonta and two against Plattsburgh) I decided to go with the new Wacker. I have to say that I was disappointed when I first received the razor as the shape of the blade is not what I had thought I was getting when I first bought it. As you can see from the picture, the blade is a standard rounded tip which is not what is shown on the Wacker site. Having said that, it is still a beautiful razor with a wonderful etching and colored worked spine and bone scales which feel very good in the hand. The PC soap provides great lubrication after two passes with a small touch up, a damn fine shave is the result. I haven't worn the Spanish Leather in a while and it always provides a great finish.

I thought I would post my first official shave in the shave of the day.
After a nice hot shower.
Brush: Truefitt and Hill Best badger
Soap: SRD Bay rum ( i got a sampler )
Razor: W.R. Case and Sons (Antelope is what I think the coffin reads)
After shave: Clubman Original
I also used a SRD shave bowl. Massive lather.
I spent most of yesterday watching Lynn's DVD and honing my Case.
When my modular strop came today that sealed my fate.
Results: BBS on the cheeks, closer on most of the neck than any other method, and very little burn from the clubman. Feeling of accomplishment. Priceless.
I am officially addicted. And as soon as I can make a WTG pass in under 15 minutes it will be daily.
Thanks to everyone who has shared any information here. I believe that is the reason for the success of my first shave.
