My typical Sunday shave:
Great start to the week, gentlemen!
He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

I had a non-typical early morning shave today. Very nice. Now sitting posting having coffee.
SOTD:
Hot Shower
Warm Oil
Dirty Bird Scuttle
Custom Badger
Cade by L'Occitane
Puma 5/8 hollow
AOS aluminum
Vaseline for men
Vetiver After shave
Great shave. I understand why Puma razors are highly sought after. This one shaves wonderfully.

Razor – Torrey
Brush – Semouge Boar
Soap – GFT Lime
Alum – Alum block
ASB – GFT Lime Skin food
AS – GFT Lime
Good morning, Wow great line up so far... I like the way the GFT products complement each other. Skin food is a staple. The shoulder-less Torrey is a remarkable shaver, a stellar combination.
FYI, the Hair Milk is for display. It's stinky too.

Thanked: 1185Fantastic Sunday Dome and Face Shave!
Prep: Hot Water Face Wash, Baby Oil Gel,Razor: 1960 Gillette Fat Boy @7,Brush: Semogue 1305, Cream: TOBS Eton College, AS: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Nivea ASB, Finish: Brut Cologne
This really was a deluxe shave, two passes on the dome and three on the face. Smooth as a catfish's belly all the way around. Yesterday was what I like to call a "That's why we live here" day, beautiful sunny day which I happily spent tossing the grandkids around the pool, listening to music and enjoying a few cold beers (in this case PBR.) Probably more of the same today. It's a dirty job but somebody has to do it.The older I get, the better I was

What's there not to like. Beautifully done. Love that Sta-Sharp.
Béla,
Beautiful Wosty. That is some beautiful etching on the blade
Welcome to SOTD Alexander. Hope to see more of you (posting) around here
Excellent shave Jamie. Great gear. I love L'Occitane products. Hang in there with your cold.
Now, that's what I call a Zen shave. Wedges are great indeed
Mikael,
That deserves a standing ovation. Well done
Andy,
That is a beautiful way to spoil yourself buddy. Nice Sunday shave indeed.
PS: Congrats on the new mug.
...And we were not invited, LOOOOOOOL? Enjoy the BBQ Birnando. Are the kids going to help?
Love that AJ, but seriously, if you had to pick ONE custom out of your collection, which would it be? Just one (well...maybe two)
Therapeutically BBS. I like that Grant. This should probably become a prescription. I can see doctors in the future saying to their patients: "The only cure to your problem is a "therapeutic shave". Take this note to the pharmacy and pick your straight of choice. Dosage: once daily".
Otto,
Those are the shaves that last a lifetime my friend. Beautifully done with the W&B
Great non-typical shave Jeff with that sought after Puma. They are great shavers but, I heard that they rust fairly easily. Take extra precaution to keep them dry.
Hog,
I am so there and can't wait to meet my maker, LOOOL. Wonder what he looks like? For all we know, He could be a She. Save me a sit and some of that wonderful home brew of yours.
Why???? I am taking all of mine with me, LOOOOOL.
Great looking Torrey Mike
Holy cow...For a second I thought this was Mark (aka Blugill's post). Great shave GI. I hope that today ends up being like yesterday for you.

Week of May 29 SOTD - Sunday
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: 24mm Shavemac Silvertip Badger Maxterpiece: 8/8" DOVO #55 "Best Class", Full Hollow Ground, Spike Point (w/ Bone Linen Micarta) Strop: 45/60 laps (Torolf linen / SRD Premium IV leather) Überlather: Czech & Speake #88 Shave Soap Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol) Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Italian AS After Shave Balm: eShave "Almond" ASB Cologne: Penhaligon Bleinheim Bouquet EdC Results: I got this C&S 88 soap on Friday and used it today. It is tallow based and the lather incredibly rich . Recently we have raved about French or Spanish soaps being the best of the best, but English soaps don't their day in the sun. This one is amongst the BEST (if not "THE" best) English soap I have tried so far. Bar none !!!! The lather is ultra luxurious (MdC/La Toja: watch out. You've got a contender in your midst) . It is not a cheap soap, especially with the aluminum dish, but well worth the price, imho. This DOVO 55 Maxterpiece had a blast playing in this luxurious lather. An amazing shave. I can already tell it's going to be a wonderful Sunday. I love everything about this shave. The lather: incredible! The blade: unreal! The brush: what can I say?
******************************
Have an INCREDIBLE Sunday guys.

Thanks buddy You bet, the kids started chopping carrots and cabbage yesterday, and the oldest have a firm grip on my spreading brush!!
Ooo, I really enjoy them all, but I guess a top three would look something like this right now:
1 Robert Williams 8/8
2 Tim Zowada 7/8 Damascus.
3 Joe Chandler 6/8
These three are superb shavers, and match or tops any other blade I have.
I have six more coming within the next couple of months, so this list might changeLast edited by Birnando; 05-29-2011 at 03:40 PM. Reason: removed quotes

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....
