    Sunday Night

    Location: South West England
Hot Shower, Rolls Razor, Mr Taylor's Shaving Cream,
Vie Long Horse Hair Brush, Alum, Blue Stratos Aftershave

I simply can not get the blade as sharp as I keep my straights, either with the built in strop and hone or with my coticule, I suspect that its the stropping which lets it down. A good shave but not as close as I have come to expect, on the plus side there will be more beard to plough down tomorrow with my Allen and Son

What a fantastic idea. Thanks for the laugh.

    3 Joe Chandler 6/8
These three are superb shavers, and match or tops any other blade I have.
I have six more coming within the next couple of months, so this list might change
Great list Birnando. I haven't shaved with (nor do I own) any other customs other than a Maxtom, but I imagine that the ones you listed would be the top 3. Looking forward to an update once you get your other customs in

This description does not still the flame. I'm off to London in July, I can see a trip to Jermyn Street on that trip. Thanks for the vivid description Robert!
    Thanks Birnando,
She is a fantastic soap and well worth the try. I am still getting used to the scent (not sure if I quite dig it yet). It has a more smoky & soapy clean scent. The lather is quite unbelievable though. Pick one up while in London. You won't be disappointed.

    Robert,

Good question...First, I went to Church. Not an easy task on race day in Indianapolis. Afterwards, I ate a hearty breakfast of waffles (w/ sugar free syrup) eggs and sausage, washed down with two cups of coffee.

Then spent several hours in the back of the house removing the underbrush on our patio in preparation for the family's Memorial Day meal tomorrow.

Refreshed myself with a nice cold brewskie (Anchor Steam). Followed by a roast beef sandwich on wheat w/ pickles and horseradish.

Finished up the day by downloading three new books on World War II related subjects onto my Kindle.
