Prep: Hot Water Face Wash, Baby Oil Gel
    Razor: C.V. Heljestrand Mk 4
    Brush: Semogue 2000
    Cream: C.O. Bigelow
    AS: Witch Hazel, Nivea ASB
Finish: Pierre Cardin, DAX High and Tight

Great shave! This razor is just amazing, it just seems to get sharper with use. Only two passes and actually the second pass was kind of academic except for cleaning up the usual trouble spots. I don't know how this shave could have been any better this morning, top notch for sure!

Great shots this week. Thank you all for your fine contributions to this great little corner of the interwebs
Sorry about the foot. I learned about skate boarding for middle age men by leaving a moon size bruise on my behind one day. Last time I did anything like that.

    I love that razor!!!!!

    Rene,
A heartfelt happy 78th Birthday to your dad my friend. You and him must have been very close. He will always live in your memories and as such has achieved the immortal status most of crave for after our passing. Nice shave to commemorate and dedicate this moment of your life to your dad
    Thanks Robert

    Rene, +1 on Roberts comments

Bjørnar, if this razor is one of the cheap damascus from ebay (those that Rene and Robert have been talking about) then ...I want one!

I received a phone call today asking me to come in for a job interview in 2 hours. So I finished what I was doing (razor work) and went for a shower and shave. Ended up being a little pushed for time and only doing 2 passes, throwing my gear on the table, taking a photo and rushing out the door for the interview.
Result: Very smooth, not quite BBS but very presentable.
I love the menthol balm, SO Coooool. It's just what I've been looking for (thanks Glenn)
So many great posts and pics this week, thank you gentlemen.
