OK, I posted this in the wrong SOTD this morning so I'll try it in the right one now.
Being Fathers day I took a bit more time than usual and it was great.
Prep: Hot shower with hot towel to follow.
Razor: Waterville 11/16 Barbers Notch. Just touched up on a Thuri (this stone is new to me )
Brush: Edwin Jagger Best Badger
Soap: Once again Cella
Scuttle: Flower pot scuttle filled with boiling water from tea pot.
After Shave Balm: Nivea (that's all I ever use)
After Shave: Aqua Velva Ice Blue.
Shave was a 4 pass number and came out fantasic. BBS and irritation free.

Thanked: 17Sunday 19th SOTD
It was a slow start followed by an afternoon of activity so the shave waited until late afternoon...
Prep: Nice hot shower and a lingering lather
Soap: Fitjar lighthouse bay rum
Brush: Rooney
Razor: Dovo Blackstar
Post: A little to relaxed shaving today so the styptic pencil had to make a quick round, then witch hazel
Post shave beverage: G&T

Prep:Hot Shower
Brush:TGN 24mm Silvertip Custom in Crimson Swirl
Strop:SRD PIV English Bridle
Cream: Frankincense, Myrrh, & Vetiver custom Bomb
Razor: Gillette DE
After shave: Al's Custom FMV ASB
EDT: Cartier Roadster
Result: I wasn't going to shave today and then changed my mind about 10 minutes prior to leaving the house so I went with the DE. It was a busy day today, I played guitar & sang at church this morning, went to Father's day brunch with the wifes family, then went to Father's day dinner with my side of the family. A good, but busy day. I missed my SR shave, but the DE did a nice job.
Happy father's day to all the Dads out there!
Cheers!

Pre-Shave: A nice long shower to start the day. Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 in 2-Band Maxterpiece: Filarmonica DT 13 Strop: Ambrose Ebano Horsehide Soap/Cream:La Toja Manantiales Astringent: Thayer's Lavender After shave Balm: Nivea Sensitive Skin EdT: Sigilli Athunis Results: Big day as I have a follow up job interview this afternoon! I hadn't reached for the Fili in quite a while but I wanted a blade that I knew would give me that no-fuss BBS I wanted so it joined in today's lather party. The La Toja built up an incredible, luscious lather in the bowl and then I took my time continuing to build it on the face. This extended face time left a soft, cushioned dream. The Fili did it's job effortlessly leaving behind nothing but clean, smooth skin. The finishing touch today was my newest favorite cologne: Sigilli Athunis this excellent earthy vetiver with a cedar note underneath is unbelievable! Keep your fingers crossed this afternoon, gentlemen!!
