    Birnando,

    Happy birthday chief.

May you have many, many, many more smooth shaves ahead of you.

Post Week of July 10 SOTD - Thursday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Brush: 24mm Morris & Forndran Blonde Badger (Bone Handle)
Razor: 8/8" DORKO, Full Hollow Ground, Round Point
Strop: 40/50 laps (Neil Miller linen / Ambrose Horse Hide Clásico leather)
Überlather: D.R. Harris "Lavender" Shave Creme + D.R. Harris "Lavender" Shave Soap + Glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol)
Moisturizer: D.R. Harris After Shave Milk
After Shave Splash: D.R. Harris "Pink" AS
Cologne: Acca Kappa "Blue Lavender" EdC
Results: I received a new Ambrose horse hide strop yesterday and put it to good use today. The leather is incredibly soft and has good draw...I didn't care for the cotton part all that much though. My Neil Miller or Torolf linen are my go to everyday linen strops. A few laps around the Ambrose refreshed the edge on this DORKO as if she had just come off the stones; Buttery smooth. The Harris' Lavender concoction was both exhilarating to use as a lather and intoxicating to the olfactory sense. What a way to prep the whiskers. CBS and ready for a busy day ahead .

    Have a SPECTACULAR Thursday boys.

    Jamie,
The photo (and shave) says plenty. It's worth 1000 words so to speak. That Raw Vanilla sounds very intriguing. It seems to have become the staple in your daily shaves.

Wow, since Neil changed honing set up the edges has become even better (no nead for letting them settle down, but still very sharp and smooth).

Thank you for the words of encouragement. I definitely need them. As far as the SOTD's go, I wish I could shave everyday, but thanks to the combination of sensitive skin and the horrible heat and humidity here in Ohio, my face can't take back to back days of shaving.
