What a nice picture! Is that a La Gloria Cubana, Taino? Very yummy, if so

    Last Call

Last shave with this razor for a lapse of time. Ballistol is awaiting her.

I usually use each razor for a week. This is the reason why I only post a few shaves.

However I must say this Joseph Rodgers is a really fantastic shaver

    Have a great weekend!

    Regards,
    Antoni

Thanks Robert, it fell over and hit the AS bottle while I was taking a SOTD shot a few weeks ago, had to hone it out before the shave.

It sure was a great feeling to shave all that growth, but you know all about that right?

    Prep: Hot shower
    SC/SS: Cade
    Brush: Simpson Chubby 2
    Razor: Muhle R89
    Blade: NOS Gillette Spoiler
    ASB: Cade
    EdT: Annick Goutal Vetiver
Result: A very nice shave from the DE. I use my DEs so infrequently that I often forget just how well they shave. The Gillette blade lived up to its name, for sure! After two passes plus some clean up, I was CBS! Have a great weekend, gentlemen...

BTW, you all posted some incredible shaves this week; thank you for sharing them!

    Good afternoon guys!
Sun is shining, and I'm getting ready to head out for a long walk.

    Shave prep: Face wash
    Brush: Omega boar # 81052
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Razor: Bengall Cast Steel, 6/8 wedge
    Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
After Shave Splash: Oriental spice, house blend
Notes: Nice relaxing BBS. Great suds, smooth and sharp razor, and the AS clouded me in delectable fragrances. This new "patch shaving style" really has improved my overall shaving technique as well.

    Default Saturday July 16th

Prep: just a quick face wash today.
Strop: SRD, 50 on Poly, 100 on Leather
Brush: Muhle, Pure Badger (I really like this little brush, it seems to give up the lather easily, my larger brush lathers up well, but wants to hang on to it)
Soap: TOBS Rose, (I always stock up on this when I visit London for Christmas)
Razor: Dovo Master 6/8", Grenadille Scales (nothing exotic, but always a great shave)
    AS: Nivea, Silver Protect Fluid.

    Great Shave.

I tried some effects to try and improve my poor attempt at Photography
