    Yesterday was my birthday, here's my shave:
    Prep:Cold Water and Ice cubes
    Brush: SilverTip 28mm knot 55mm loft. (huge brush)
    Soap: The one and only SRD Bulgarian Rose
    Strop: 3" red latigo. 75 laps- leather only
    Razor: Dovo SS 5/8 Ivory Micarta
    Passes: 2-3
    Finish: Ice Cubes and Cold Water
    Result: Young feeling/ BBS

    Today, all day rain and storm. This is not fun anymore. (16 degrees in midsummer )


    After the dogs and i had walked through the rain and cold storm, a nice hot shower. Then I had a nice shave with good results, not perfect.
    This razor has a small re sharping needed. Tomorrow or the next day better.

    Pre: shower
    Strop: Rolfcowhide
    Omega brush (boar)
    Phoenix Rising soap
    Ator 6 / 8 razor
    And afthershave, givenchy play

    Default EARLY SHAVE POSTED NOW

    Prep: Hot shower
    RAZOR: Musek BTS
    BRUSH: Simpson PJ3
    SOAP: La Toja
    ASTRINGENT: Thayers
    ASB: Skinfood Sandalwood
    EDT: Vetyver
    RESULTS: SMOOTH AND BBS
    Got the La Toja and used it for todays shave. First off the scent, for me personally its a basic soap smell, not what I thought it was going to be, not a bad or a good thing just a basic scent, kinda reminds me of VDH soap. But the lather, WOW!!!! as with the MDC a little goes a long way and if it wasnt for the scent I would prefer the La toja, but just by a teeny tiny hair. The Musek is a beast , but a beauty ( see what I did there? ) and the shave was awesome, super close and BBS.
