Brush: New Forest, 2201
Razor: Atkinson, The Favorite
Soap: Nannys, Spicy one
AS: Proraso
Strop: Neil Miller
Result: Very, very clean
I had a go at another one of Nannys test cakes today (I've got two) and this one was really good too - chunky, even more so than yesterdays French Lavender, good cushion and slip. I like We also where at a house from 1647 and had afternoon tea (very good, they have been rewarded the Tea guilds top award twice).

PREP: Hot shower with conditioner in beard RAZOR: Tornblom BRUSH: Simpson Chubby 2 UBER: SRD Sweet Patchouli + Bomb "Boheme" + Glycerin TONER: Thayers Lavender ASB: Sabon EDT: Guerlain Coriolan (Vintage) RESULT: It's shaves like this that made me want to use a straight in the first place! The SRD/Bomb uberlather is a luxury in it's own right. And these two just go together like a 1960's Haight Ashbury Head Shop sponsored Love Fest. Between the strong patchouli vibe and the floral undercurrent, there's no way not to let go of your inhibitions in the shave den. When you combine it with this awesome blade restored by Neil Miller, you just know the day's gonna be great. My face was left smooth as a baby's butt after 2+ passes. It all got tied together with a phenomenal vintage scent from Guerlain, leaving me ready to take on the world!
