Thanked: 1072Location: Coffs Harbour AustraliaI hope you guys all have such shaving bliss today.
Strop: MickR's Roo Hide
Brush: FS Finest Badger
Uber: Tabac Soap, Tabac Cream + Glycerin
Razor: Invicta Coronett 6/8, Pa's Gem SE for Head shave
Astringent: Thayer's Original Witch Hazel
Balm: Nivea Replenishing
A/S: Wahl Bay Rum
Result: I try to make Sunday night a special shave, but tonight was nothing short of spectacular. This Invicta is one of my absolute favorite razors. I admit there are some highly regarded razors out there that I am yet to try, but I cant imagine getting much better than this. 2 passes and I'm absolute BBS.
I'm really loving my grandfather's GEM for head shaving. If any of you guys shave your heads and haven't tried a GEM I recommend it. So easy to use and such a great result.
Have a great week

I rarely get to shave in the morning...and even though it was a great shave; the nighttime plays the song I like to sing. Now it's off to brunch and dropping what seems like half my annual salary on back to school clothes for the 2 teenage Divas in the other room Have a Great Day Gents!

Sunday
I hope you have all been enjoying your weekend,
Sunday, first day of my working week.
Temperatures have dropped to the low 40's˚C, comfortable weather only around Six weeks away now.
I've been dreaming about about Bacon (Otto) and indeed a Cold Shower (Kalerolf)

Prep: Shower
Strop: SRD, Premium 1 Leather, 50, 100
Brush: Kent Boar
Cream: Kaloderma

The little Boar brush is really growing on me, builds a nice lather very quickly and pastes it on my face readily, quick dip in some water and it delivers even more for a second pass.
Nice smooth shave in Two passes this morning.

.
.Razor:Cuchilleria Veiga 7/8 restored by maximillian Strop: Ambrose Cordovan (25/50) Brush:Plisson #14 Haute Montagne, Horn handle lather:Floris JF shaving soap AS: Lotion Opaline de Chantelle EdT:Annick Goutal, Duel Comments:Simply luxurious, I am completely glad to have a Maxterpiece in my collection, I only hope that's not the last one but the 1st of a list, not as big as the Robert's collection, but something enough for a simple razor aficionado. The Floris is an easy soap, too easy to get lather, as other soaps the 1st lather is airy and it's needed a bit of work to obtain a creamy and thick lather....once I got the lather the shave is almost done. A nice walk for the Veiga, close and comfortable shave, finished with the glory of god in a bottle, the freshness of the Opaline lotion, those nuns know very well how made an excellent aftershave, maybe they are straight razor users as the members of the ladies corner here . The fruity and fresh duel is the prefect finish for a great shave. Enjoy the Sunday. Cheers Robert, my pic is an humble imitation of yours...
