Prep: Hot shower -- followed by Proraso pre-post-shave cream
SS/SC: Erasmic + Acqua Di Parma = Superlather
Brush: Plisson faux Ebony - European White - Size 12
Strop: VB Red Latigo 50 fabric; 60 leather
Razor: 6/8” H. Wacker Model 1st “Old Sheffield"
    Astringent: Thayers “Lemon” Witch Hazel
    ASB: GFT “Coral” Skin Food

Result: Other than my first real mishap with a straight razor--stabbed myself with the Spanish point of my Wacker--I am looking, feeling and smelling good.

prep: Nice cool shower / OBR Soap / Hair Conditioner on the face / Oil Rub
Strop: Star 'Big Daddy' 3" Chestnut / Balsa CrOx / Felt Diamond 40/40/100
    Brush: 22mm Silvertip
Soap: Col. Conk Original w/ Irisch Moos
    Razor: Puma 'My Darling' 6/8"
AS: Alum Rub / Tend Skin / Palomba Picasso Minotaure
EDT: Jovan Musk Oil / Avon Signature
Result: Easy going Sunday Late Morning Shave. The PUMA always delivers. Once around the block on the paddles, 100 on the leather, and this baby glides the whiskers away. Combining Conk and Moos made for a smooth, silky lather that would last a week. I swear, you could use it as a foundation to build a house on. An excellent DFS Shave this morning, very little razor burn or irritation.

    A good start of a beautiful day. It’s already almost 18C / 64F outside
so I’ll get started making Sunday brunch, which I’m going to enjoy outside on my deck.
Pancakes, eggs and bacon with a bear-sized puddle of Canadian maple syrup on top.

    Have a wonderful week..

    Sunday Morning:

    PREP: Proraso pre/post
    BOWL: DirtyBird scuttle
    SOAP: MdC
    BRUSH: Vie-Long Zurito
RAZOR: Robert Williams Custom 10/8 w/ Girafe bone scales
    ASB: Proraso pre/post
    AS: homade Lavender/Patchouli/Cloves
    EDT: MdC Lavande

RESULT: Received her Friday and the result was excellent considering that it is my first time with a blade that is over 8/8. The cheeks and chin no problem, under the nose all good but for the neck it needed a bit of hand adjustement. I got a really great shave from her, shes big but with some minor adjustements she deliver awesome shave. IT was smooth and cant wait for another one!!!!

    GREAT WEEK TO ALL!!

    Sunday Night
    Razor: Seehund 1015
    Brush: Vulfix 2235
    Cream: Trumpers Limes
Post: Alum, Crabtree & Evelyn West Indian Limes
Its been a good day. In June I injured my hamstring while doing a flashy kick in martial arts and having taken things easy it now feels as though its pretty much healed, so I got out on the bike with my local cycling club and did a short (30 mile) ride and tonight its feeling fine. We stopped half way at a café and I had a coffee and slice of Key Lime pie; so todays SOTD carries on that theme.

As you can see it's an 1/8" thick and 3/8" high, and yes she took a lovely smooth edge - in fact the balm isn't really needed just a wipe off with a hot flannel and a splash of cold water.

Just wondering what to hone next lol
