Location: 36° 0'5"N - 115° 15' 21"W Razor: Friedmann & Lauterjung Brush: Simpson Polo 10 - 2 band Soap: GFT - Rose Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel AS: GFT Coral Skin Food EDC: Hollister SoCal Summary: I was cleaning out my razor display stand this morning and I stumbled on this old F&L razor I had completely forgotten about. It had fallen behind some props so I couldn't see it. The razor was still shaving hairs from my forearm so I just stropped it 50x on my SRD Premium II strop. It nicely passed my HHT. Lathered up with some GFT Rose and boy, did I enjoy the whole shave. The razor performed flawless. I've mentioned Friedmann & Lauterjung razors several times as being top notch quality shavers. If you see one in good condition, don't let it slide. As a side note, We are now taking orders for the SRP 2011 group buy - Thäter 2 band 26/55 bulb or fan shape. LINK Wishing everyone a safe happy Labor Day WK.

Yesterday's shave was a morning shave and started with my normal prep; Warm shower, Stephan's and warm oil
Dirty Bird Scuttle
Nancy Boy Shave cream with glycerine
Custom Badger brush
Maxtom 13/16 Spanish Point : 3/8 Hollow
Ambrose Strop, 50 linen 100 leather
Pinaud Clubman
AOS Aluminum
Vaseline for men
I had not shaved since Thursday. After a good prep I was treated to a wonderful shave. Passed the BBT test and then spent the day playing laser tag with my daughter . My first time doing this sort of thing. I had a great time, even the wife joined in and played. I spent much of my time keeping other folks from tagging her.
I'll post today's shave when I get to it. Sorry for the picture it was taken with my phone. (Not that I am any better with the D80)

Brush: Shavemac 30 mm
Razor: Klas Törnblom, w custom scales by Neil Miller (MOP inlays ) + Gillette, Popular
Soap/AS: Prof Blighty's Grapewood
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Very, very close
It's one of those blades you silently chuckle with when shaving and the brush is my face, head and "what ever you want to shave" brush (no, I didn't).
