This Fitjar woodsy fern is a new soap for me and I haven't made up my mind on it yet. Good lather and a most interesting fragrance but it is very different. I'll may wait for the better half to give a thumbs up or down.

I also used the Gillette w/Derby blade and the scissors to trim up beard and hair

ETA A few more words on the Fitjar. This is a high quality soap. It is fairly creamy in the jar and just a small amount is needed. Boom, it explodes into a rich lather in an instant. The lather is very creamy and little water is needed. It stays moist while shaving and has good cushion and glide and it moisturizes quite well. My wife now seems to like the fragrance and it is definitely growing on me. Very good stuff.

    Tonights shave was fun.
Just a 2 pass head shave, but Jacky Boy hung out with me for the whole shave. Asking questions about making lather, pulling out every soap in the drawer and giving me his opinion.
Result: Damn Fine Shave. Shiny smooth and feeling good.

Sorry about the lack of participation this week boys. I haven't been shaving behind your backs, just haven't been shaving much this week. Between work and home being so busy, I've just been too exhausted.
Thanks for all the great posts and pics.
