Thanked: 485Tuesday
I’ve been absent from SOTD for a few days, lacking the motivation to even post a photo. Been a bit depressed...
Anyway, loved using the W&B this morning, using it reminded me of how much I love this razor. It was fresh off the hones and I must say I think I did rather a good job!
An Überlather of Crabtree and Evelyn Nomad and La Toja (and glycerine of course) reminded me also of how much I like an Über.
The shave was ridiculously smooth, such that I’d stand in front of Buckingham palace with ½ a Ursus Americanus on my head to be inspected by Her Majesty if needed. Stupidly garish and large cufflinks were the cufflinks of the day...
Razor : Wade and Butcher Pre Shave: None!!!! Überlather : Crabtree and Evelyn Nomad/La Toja/Glycerine ASB: None!!! After Shave: Truefitt and Hill Trafalgar (as always) Cuff links of the Day:Green Glass
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Thanked: 1072Strop: Illinois 835
Brush: Silvertip badger in Cocobolo
Cream: CarrieM's Black Raspberry Vanilla
Razor: Custom Gotta 120 11/16
Astringent: Thayer's Witch Hazel
Balm: C.O. Bigelow Mentha
After another long day at work I was looking forward to a relaxing shave.
After shaving with the Gotta last week I gave it a touch-up, using both my Coticules and finishing with the Thuringian.
The touch-up did the trick, nice sharp, smooth edge. 2 passes and a DFS.
The CarrieM cream was a nice refreshing touch to perk me up for the night and the menthol balm was a fantastic way to finish
Thanks for all the great posts and pics fellas.

What an incredible shave! If I could only have one shaving cream (the horror!), I think I may have just found it! I just got my tub of custom Turkish Rose and Sandalwood Bomb in last night - absolutely stupendous! This stuff makes the SRD Rose Otto soap smell tame, and the lather it whipped up was nothing short of amazing! It felt like pure silk being swiped across my face as I lathered up, and the razor just slid through it leaving me BBS in two passes. This despite my intention to just do a quick shave... Color me impressed!
Great shaves being displayed early in the week! Thank you, gentlemen! He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

Thought I'd go all out today and have a real shave courtesy of The Real Shaving Co.
What can I say. Cheap as chips and all good stuff. Well almost..........the jury's still out on the face mask? Don't know whether "it does what it says on the tin" but failing that its good fun and kinda adds to the experience.
A very nice shave. Maybe just not as earth shattering as yesterdays but, still, very enjoyable and a job well done!
Morning gents.
Oscar.

Thanked: 146Tuesday
This could be one of the last remaining days in the 60's here in Ohio, so I am going golfing with my older brother this evening. Since it's going to get warm, thought an all Proraso shave would do it!
Prep: Hot Shower / Proraso pre-post creme
Brush: AOS Pure Badger
Soap: Proraso / Nancy boy / glycerin Uber
Razor: Beau Brummel "Wedge"
Post: Proraso AS / AOS AS Balm unscented
Result: Never ceases to amaze me the difference in the wedge vs. full hollow. Silent and doesn't feel like the blade is cutting and Voila! the whiskers are once again assassinated with Ninja like stealth!
