Razor – French tail less AMU I FILGAIN A PAP?
Brush – Ever Ready 100
Soap – Cella
AST – ALUM
AS – Penhaligons, BB
Gooood morning, good morning;
I went all old school and used this 200 yr. old French tail less. I can’t make out the name. What a fantastic shaver. The hold is a bit tricky, but no problems. It will test your pinch strength. The gardens are all gone after our cold snap last week. No more fresh maters and veggies for a while. Have a great week all.

Thank you for the kind words Robert
You can't really choose what kind of sandalwood you get, most won't tell you which it actually is and they're all subspecies of the same genus. I bought many of my oils from Essensial Trading Post on ebay. I got several of their sandalwood oils. Note that the egyptian and the arabian sandalwood oils have relatively same price, whereas the unspecified has a much different price. I have good things to say about them all, but I suspect, like in so many areas, in truth you get what you pay for. The only thing I would emphasize is to get a concentrated oil, not some blend. For aftershave making you really only need a very small amount, .5 oz is more than enough and even a dram goes a long way.

Speaking of which, I got some new fougere blends in the works, they have been maturing since july and should soon be ready for judgement. I am blending the basic accord, later I will decide on the additions. It is great fun indeed.

Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: Simpson Chubby 1 Razor: Revisor 6/8 Strop: 40/60 Neil Miller Linen/English Bridle Soap: Monsavon After shave: Floïd Blue Results: My mother in law returned from a trip to Paris Thursday and she brought with her two tubs of Monsavon soap and a tube of Williams cream Gave the Monsavon a try today, not bad, not bad at all. Nice subtle scent, and pretty nice and slick lather, not quite as much cushion as I like, but that might as well be my fault. The Revisor is a magnificent shaver, I could probably get a nice shave of it with just water (not that I'm going to try) A very very nice DFS +, smooth and comfortable.
