Razor: Kron Vest 14 Medalla Oro "Jaguar"
    Strop: Ambrose Cordovan (20/60)
    Preshave: Proraso pre
    Brush: Shavemac silvertip
    lather: Martin de Candre
    AS: Alun Tadé
    EdT: Loewe pour Homme
Comments: Hommage, humble but hommage to the expresso lover, our Mikael , thanks for sharing those nice shots, My simple Krups it's not a very good expresso maker but I get good coffe for my breakfast, it's enough for me. I get good lather, furthermore, the best lather with this combination of silvertip and Martin de Candre,...My "little" 15/16 Kron Vest did not have problems to bring the panic in my beard,.... "no mercy" and smooth shave,....I trust the alum block as my aftershave, as in the past, and I am very satisfied with it, goes well to my skin. Loewe pour homme is a classic spanish scent, and I like it because my grandfather used it and I remember him whe I worn this cologne.

    DR Harris Arlington Splash
Baxter of California Mentholated AS Balm

-Strop, Brush, Soap, all brand new-Thanks Bullgoose! The new soap from the DFS group buy is excellent. I'm very picky about what soap/cream I use when straight shaving and the TFS worked wonderfully.

Ta, he's bouncing back, blood transfusions and platelet transfusions seem to always do the trick. We're lucky that we have the best hospital in the Southern Hemisphere here in Adelaide.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone, it means a lot to me...

This was supposed to be posted last night, but as I was posting it up, I fell asleep at the desk again, and when I woke, I thought I had already posted it, but must have only previewed it. It wasn't here when I checked in this morning from work. So now, I must complete this post, even if it will be followed by another one in just a few hours.

    Here we go:

    .

    Locale: Lowlands of the Rockies
Music: .38 Special - Drive Train
Prep: Hot Shower / Oil of Olay / Nexus Conditioner
    Razor: 7/8 DC Custom Wedge
Hones: 15/25 on the Star Chestnut
Brush: WillN Custom 24mm Silvertip in American Ash / Lather Bowl #1
Post: Cold Water Splash - Alum
    Uber: Cella + Speik
    AS: Lucky Tiger
    Edt: Drakkar Noir
Result: I've waited for this razor for weeks, and it did not dissappoint. Very hefty, well balanced with a very sharp point. My technique with larger razors is Meh! at best. I took my time, very light pressure and concentrated on my angles. Wrong angle and be prepared to pay. Over extend the tip, and be prepared to pay. Right angles, and respect for the tip, and the shave was fantastic. A full 3 pass shave, with no cuts, nicks or razor burn. I tell ya, I was gentle on myself with this big beauty. It will take some practice to get the most out of it. Like I consider that 'work'! LOL.

Just ran the Dovo C-Mon Blackie out for a late afternoon shave; a little Proraso cream on the brush and two rough passes followed by RazoRock alum stick and Thayers Lemon... should have spent more time preping the face as now I sit in slight discomfort with no desire to play photographer.
Oh well... no cuts and a night out awaits me.

Enjoy the weekend gents, I'll be back after some more honing practice.
