3 nights in Yosemite is too short, but so is your time and I understand. Will you visit the Tolumne Meadows? Much less crowded than Yosemite proper and only a little over 1 hour drive. Where are you guys staying in Yosemite? The Ahwahnee is fabulous. Yosemite Lodge is a dump. Wawona is good/OK too.

    Jamie,
Nice shot and shave buddy. I have both Chubby 1 & 2 super (2-band) and a chubby 2 super (3-band). They're all excellent, but my preference is with the 2. 1 seems a bit too small for my tastes. There's not much splay in the 2-banders and at some point, I may pick me up a #3 super in 2-band.

    thanks for your information, Robert.
    We tuned a Standard-trip:USA-Reisen.de -Western Wanderer-Mietwagen-Rundreise in Amerika -
...we added one more day in Yosemite (B.W. Yosemite Gateway Inn); one more day in Grand Canyon; one more day in Page and two more days in San Francisco.
    We also changed some hotels.

Yes I know...we stay the night not inside Yosemite, but it is nearby and much more cheaper.
We like the furious scenic in the beautiful N.P.'s and I think 3 weeks is a good time for vacation. I know that most of the American don't have such a lot vacation all the year.

Be patient, Robert, I have some credit cards with me and I'll stay 2 days in Las Vegas!

Hello friends, hope all of you are well!

    Tom, Sharon and the Feather...

Following a week in London and two days in Rome/Genoa with plenty of acquisitions, I'm gradually starting to get back.

One of the best shaves I've had in awhile with any razor! Topped off with Old Spice and my mid-short-workweek shave could not have been better!

Prep: Tepid water applied to face. Proraso pre shave cream for sensitive skin.

Razor: Dorko 300-8/8 in new Teak scales manufactured by myself. The shave proved that the scales are functional with respect to stropping and shaving; the only negative I found was that the pivot pin needs to be tightened. More about this restoration can be read in the Workshop Forum under: A new Jacket for my Dorko 8/8.

Soap and Brush: MWFS in ceramic bowl. SRD Silver tip badger brush

Astringent & AS: Razorock Alum stick followed by Dominica Bay Rum.

Results: A good shave that left me CBS (Catfish Belly Smooth) HOG
