Half way through the first week at the new job... and starting the day with a great shave.

Don't want to be late, but a picture is worth a million words.

Post Week of November 20 SOTD - Wednesday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Brush: 26mm Simpson "Chubby 2", 2-band Super Badger
Razor: 5/8" J.A. Henckels #41 :Blue Steel", Full Hollow Ground, Spike Point
Edge Refresh: 3 light laps on CrOx-treated SRD Premium IV leather
Strop: 5/55 laps (Torolf Linen / Ambrose Horsehide ClÃsico leather)
Soapreme: L'Occitane "Cade" Shave Creme + L'Occitane "Cade" Shave Soap + Glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Lavender, no alcohol)
After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Blue AS
After Shave Balm: L'Occitane "L'Occitan" ASB
Cologne: L'Occitane "Eau des 4 Voleurs" EdT
Results: A simple yet very effective shave today . Took out my Henckels #41 for a spin around the jungle today and despite her small size, she performed marvelously. This blade can really take one hell of an edge. L'Occitane "Cade" soapreme was truly amazing and full of zing. What can I say? It is one of those products that you can't help but fall in love with . I cherished every minute of the prep. Finished extra strong and super smooth. As Monroe would always so eloquently put it: "I look and smell good"

    Have an AWESOME Wednesday gentlemen.

Had a great shave today that took off 3 days of whiskers. My W&B wedge sailed through them like they weren't even there. Had a pretty smooth face after 1 pass! I made a fantastic Uberlather using a whipped Bay Rum soap and TOBS Sandalwood. I'm still enjoying that scent mixed with Ogallala Bay Rum and Sandalwood aftershave

I Rescaled this W&B 2 weeks and this Fili i got off the bay a long while back but it had a chip in the toe. Looks NOS. Honed both up last weekend. I only had to due one pass on half my face to know she is an AWESOME shaver. I finished the shave with the W&B. BBS in 2 passes.
