Post Week of November 20 SOTD - Monday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Brush: 28mm Rod Neep Extra Stuffed Silvertip Badger w/ African Soapstone handle
Razor: 7/8" Iwasaki 2-Chou Gake (二丁垳) w/ waxed cotton handles
Strop: 15/60 laps (Torolf Linen / Ambrose Horsehide ClĂsico leather)
Soapreme: Martin De Candre Shave Soap + Glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Lavender, no alcohol)
After Shave Splash: Halston "Catalyst" AS
After Shave Balm: Al Raz' "Lavender" (light) ASB
Cologne: Martin De Candre "Eau de Lavende" EdT
Results: Today was one of those Mondays that required extra time in the shave den. So, I took out the Iwasaki for a ride and loved every minute of it . This Kamisori requires a good performance lather to shine at her optimum and the MdC delivered just that and more; the lather was super thick and ultra moist with plenty of glide and cushion . I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that this soap is as delightful to use in the summer time as it is on a cool day such as today. The Iwasaki was on cloud nine and so was I. Three perfect passes and my face is as smooth as a baby's bottom.

Haven't had a chance to check out the wonderful SOTDs yet, but will try to catch up later on today. Have a TERRIFIC Monday and "short" week fellas. Thanksgiving (for those celebrating this holiday) is (almost) upon us.
