Prep: Hot Water Wash, Baby Oil Gel
    Razor: Imperial Extra Hollow Ground
    Brush: VDH Boar
    Soap: VDH Deluxe
    AS: Corn Husker's Lotion
    Finish: Aqua Velva Classic
Result: CBS in two passes, razor has a scary sharp edge. Kicked it really old school and took my shave out to the dinner table to hear the music better (no SWMBO isn't here). This little portable magnifying mirror is a really handy tool for old farts like me who have piss poor eyesight and refuse to shave wearing glasses. Although I must confess shaving in the seated position was a little odd.

In honor of Billy Gibbons' 62nd birthday, I decided to rock some of that little ole band from Texas. Not that these guys would know a thing about shaving but there's no better tune to shave to

    Default TGIF SOTD 12-16

    .

Location: The foothills of The Rockies
    Music: Triumph - Classics
Prep: Hot Shower / Hot Towel Soak
Razor: 6/8 Genco Henry's XX (two days in a row, I love this edge)
    Hones: 3" Big Daddy Felt/Chestnut 25/100
Brush: Custom 24mm Silvertip in American Ash by WillN
Uber: RazoRock XXX + Spieck = one of my favorite Uber lathers. Get the water right and it is amazing.
    AS: Humphrey's + Pinaud Clubman
    Edc: Drakkar Noir
Result: This razor is amazing. Clean and smooth. Too clean in some places. I get careless when I'm tired and my angles slip and I get razor burn. It happens, and it sucks when it does. The Genco needs no touchup, no barbers, no CrOx, no diamonds. This baby got nothing but felt and leather. Smooth as silk.
